Vocalise for Soprano and Piano
ヴォカリーズ ソプラノとピアノのための
Commissioned work by Akari Morizane (soprano) and Akane Kidawara (piano). The music consists of three parts. At the first part, designated as "Like talking to the dark sea." This is the theme part where the main melody comes in, and the middle part is the relatively quiet part that comes from the piano solo designated as " Like hearing a voice calling far from the dark sky." In the middle part, tonality becomes slightly ambiguous. Then, the first melody comes back, and the piece finishes vigorously with a little harsh and atonal sounds. This piece has been premiered on February 15, 2020, in Ehime, Japan.
ソプラノ 森實あかり、ピアノ 木俵茜のお二人からの委嘱作品。曲の全体は3部分からなる。最初の部分は「暗い海に向かって話しかけるように」と指定してある。これが主な旋律の入ってくるテーマの部分、そして中間部はピアノの独奏から入ってくる「昏い空から遠く呼ぶ声が聞こえる」という比較的静かな部分。中間部は少し趣を変えて調性的にもやや曖昧になる。そののち再現部で最初の旋律を演奏して、畳みかけるような終結部に入る。少し激しくかつ無調性的な響きを伴いながら勢いよく終わる。本作品は上記のお二人により2020年2月15日 四国中央市にて初演された。
